Job Description

Payroll Coordinator processing European payroll for Avery Dennison’s global materials science and digital identification business. Managing SAP Globalview data, employee support, and payroll process optimization across EMEA.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer payroll data, including data entry and assistance with preparation, creation, and execution of monthly payroll using SAP Globalview
  • Support international payroll administration across the GWO team when required
  • Assist with onboarding preparation for new employees
  • Correspond with tax authorities, social security institutions, health insurance providers, and pension providers
  • Respond to payroll procedure and practice questions through ServiceNow, email, phone, chat, and case management
  • Work with internal and external partners on global assignments entering or leaving scope
  • Educate employees about available services and promote self-service tools and systems
  • Analyze processes and recommend continuous process optimizations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in European Payroll
  • Experience in French, Italy, UK, Dutch, or Turkey payroll is a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding of payroll legislation or similar
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills
  • Dutch, French, Italian, or Turkish is a plus
  • Ability to document processes and make recommendations for improvements
  • Experience or proficiency with SAP Globalview
  • Ability to use ServiceNow and multiple support channels
