Job Description
French Payroll Specialist managing entire payroll cycle and ensuring compliance with French legislation for global payroll solutions company. Collaborating with international teams and delivering accurate payroll reports.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all payroll activities in line with the monthly payroll calendar and submit the payroll figures monthly.
- Ensure the payrolls comply with French legislation and statutory requirements.
- Reconcile pre-processing reports to ensure the accuracy of information before processing payroll.
- Investigate discrepancies in payroll information and/or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing.
- Validate payroll outputs.
- Maintain payroll information, files, and records to provide up-to-date references and an audit trail for compliance.
- Analyze payroll-related information to ensure accurate distribution of funds and payroll.
- Prepare monthly payroll reports and upload them to the CP platform.
- Collaborate with the Implementation team to ensure successful handover of new payrolls to the in-house team.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and French is essential.
- English level: B2.
- Expert knowledge of local legal requirements, statutory forms, and reporting.
- Expert-level experience with complex payrolls (benefits in kind, stock options/RSUs, non-residents, court orders, etc.).
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing at a specialist level.
- Proficient in business software.
- Strong decision-making skills; proactive, able to plan and organize own workload.
- Knowledge of TeamsRH software is advantageous.
- Experience working in an international environment is a plus.
