Job Description
Abbott pediatric nutrition sales specialist promoting Similac and PediaSure across North Houston healthcare offices. Managing territory growth, clinical product knowledge, launches, budgets, and healthcare-provider relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Promote, manage, and grow Abbott Nutritional products in pediatric and obstetric office settings
- Develop and support territory sales goals for Similac and PediaSure products
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines
- Deliver product and clinical information in a selling environment
- Support new product launches
- Work effectively with Dietitians, Physicians, and Nurses within office systems
- Organize time and perform administrative tasks effectively
- Manage budgets
- Function independently with initiative, autonomy, and responsibility for short- and long-term goals
- Assist with stocking and movement of pediatric products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of three years of sales experience in office or hospital settings working with Health Care Professionals
- Comprehensive knowledge of products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines
- Ability to work effectively with Dietitians, Physicians, and Nurses
- Effective administrative and time-management skills
- Budget management ability
- Ability to function independently with initiative, independence, and autonomy
- Self-motivated with short- and long-term goal orientation
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
- Local candidate living in the North Houston area; relocation is not available
- Registered Dietitians and Registered Nurses strongly encouraged to apply
