Job Description

Sales Representative leading sales efforts for Geisinger Pharmacy services. Cultivates relationships and implements sales strategies in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivates and maintains contact with key accounts for sales of products and services
  • Leads sales efforts for GHP pharmacy benefit management services and Geisinger Pharmacy services
  • Creates sales strategies and responds to RFPs
  • Presents to sales prospects and clients
  • Develops relationships with clinical provider offices, clients, broker partners, and industry consultants
  • Implements sales strategies in conjunction with various departments
  • Grows business by identifying new opportunities
  • Maintains sales pipeline and reports monthly progress
  • Communicates with new and existing customers to grow the base of business
  • Develops marketing materials related to Geisinger Pharmacy
  • Documents client visits and inquiries
  • Attends trade shows and maintains relationships with chambers of commerce
  • Coordinates pharmacy RFP requests and responses
  • Collaborates with marketing teams to present customized sales materials
  • Remains informed about trends and regulations in the PBM industry

Requirements:

  • Proven history of success in PBM or health plan pharmacy sales
  • Thorough understanding of the pharmacy benefit management industry, including pricing strategies, industry trends, regulatory guidelines, and market dynamics
  • Significant analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with prospects
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field of study (Required)
  • Master's Degree in related field of study (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience (Required)
