Job Description
SLED Account Executive at Deque driving new business acquisition within public sector agencies. Managing complex accounts and optimizing government procurement strategies for accessibility services.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently achieve objectives with a primary focus on securing Net-New Logo agency business.
- Execute a strategic plan to maintain 4x coverage, driven by self-sourced opportunities and navigating specific government contract vehicles.
- Move beyond feature discussions to focus on Section 508 compliance, risk mitigation, and ROI of accessible digital government services.
- Manage numerous complex agency accounts concurrently.
- Analyze procurement timelines and metrics to optimize acquisition strategies.
- Build strong relationships with Program Managers, IT Directors, and Procurement Officers to facilitate rapid land and expansion.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of successful SaaS sales experience specifically within the SLED or FED segments.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding public sector sales targets.
- Mandatory expertise in negotiation, closing, and navigating government RFPs/RFQs.
- Ability to manage concurrent deals while navigating complex internal and external bureaucracies.
- Solid grasp of SaaS models, Section 508/WCAG standards, and government procurement regulations.
- College degree (BA/BS) or equivalent.
- Must thrive in high-growth environments and adapt to shifting legislative priorities.
