Job Description

Pharmacy Support Specialist managing training and documentation for VytlOne pharmacies. Focusing on operational support and pharmacy staff development with remote capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage training projects and documentation development for assigned applications
  • Monitor helpdesk and equipment needs
  • Develop, implement, and deliver training programs for all levels of pharmacy personnel
  • Assist employees with problems concerning “how to” perform specific tasks related to the pharmacy systems
  • Perform routine internal audits to monitor quality markers and various reporting metrics in order to improve pharmacy quality and audit performance
  • Support the pharmacy accreditation process for the pharmacy system

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED, some college coursework preferred
  • PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification) required
  • Minimum of 4 years of Pharmacy experience required
  • Previous pharmacy system training experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal pharmacy support
  • Ability to use a computer to assess patient/drug information systems
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience typing prescriptions required
