Job Description
Platform Product Engineer building core platform for client deployments at Appsilon. Designing cloud infrastructure and ensuring secure, scalable deployments for pharma and life sciences clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Manage and evolve Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, QA gates, and deployment processes
- Develop backend services and scripting (Python, Go)
- Write technical specifications and documentation
- Ensure platform security, reliability, and compliance
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and delivery teams
Requirements:
- 4+ years working with cloud infrastructure and platform engineering
- Strong AWS experience
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments
- Proficiency with Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code tools
- Backend development experience in Python and/or Go
- Experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines end to end
- Linux experience and solid understanding of networking
- A product mindset
- Strong technical documentation and spec writing skills
- Experience in consulting or working with clients
- English at C1 level
