Job Description
Licensed Spanish-speaking doctor providing asynchronous telehealth consultations and weight-loss prescriptions for Eucalyptus’s Juniper program. Supporting personalised patient care, medical triage, and clinician processes remotely from Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct asynchronous text-based consultations with Spanish-speaking patients through the telehealth platform to assess and prescribe weight-loss medications
- Provide personalised medical advice to patients
- Apply knowledge of GLP-1/GIP agonist medications and relevant prescribing areas
- Follow practice standards, quality and safety procedures, policies, and required training
- Triage medical enquiries to support patient safety and care
- Respond promptly to escalated medical incidents by phone or asynchronous messaging
- Act as a point of contact for Eucalyptus-partnered clinicians
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve processes and systems
- Help create medical knowledge centres for the broader team
Requirements:
- Qualified and licensed medical doctor (MD)
- Current registration with a Colegio Oficial de Médicos in Spain, with colegiado number required
- Native or fluent Spanish speaker
- Strong written and spoken English
- Based in Ireland
- High empathy and commitment to exceptional patient experience
- Organised, independent, and able to work effectively in a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Skilled in using technology to deliver care and communicate with patients, especially in written formats
- Willingness to work weekends
- Experience in online prescribing
- Willingness to work either part-time or full-time
- Weight-loss prescribing experience is a bonus
