Job Description
Pricing & Trade Invest Manager developing and optimizing pricing strategies for The Quality Group. Collaborating with finance and commercial teams to support negotiations and investment decisions.
Responsibilities:
- develop and further the framework for trade terms and contribute to profitable growth
- provide sound analyses and strategic recommendations through financial simulations, price analyses, and evaluation of promotions
- support Key Account Manager(s) in negotiations with retailers and assist in adjusting terms and conditions
- ensure a consistent and transparent pricing structure by maintaining and optimizing the master pricing framework
- analyze sales and promotion results and derive concrete recommendations for action
- develop price and promotion strategies in close collaboration with the Market Insights team
- contribute to the international pricing and investment strategy, initially focusing on DE, NL and UK
- work closely with Finance, Brand and Commercial Operations
- prepare meaningful reports and presentations that support management and sales
Requirements:
- degree in Finance, Business Administration (BWL), Economics (VWL) or a comparable field
- 2–5 years of professional experience in Sales, Pricing, Commercial Finance or Controlling — ideally in the FMCG sector
- strong analytical skills and the ability to confidently evaluate complex financial and commercial scenarios
- strong hands-on mentality and ability to find pragmatic solutions
- clear communication and strong presentation skills
- confident user of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- fluent in German and English (C1 level)
