Job Description
Information Systems Project Manager leading project teams and managing IT projects at Northrop Grumman. Responsible for oversight of scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and overall direction to project teams engaged in design, implementation and modification of IT projects
- Serve as customer liaison for project leadership and manage scheduling, change management, risk management, and cost management
- Manage and track status of projects, metrics, financial budgets, and EACs
- Create, review, and finalize project Statement of Work (SOW)
- Assist project management leadership team in assessing, documenting, and tracking of all new assigned project requirements
- Prepare project execution plans and identify appropriate technical and business resources required
- Develop customer relationships and cultivate customer intimacy
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain a US Government Secret level security clearance (at a minimum)
- Experience with project planning, scheduling and cost performance/Earned Value Management
- Experience with integrated team including program manager, functional managers, and customers
- Experience in communicating with various levels of leadership
- Experience leading and managing multiple concurrent and complex project assignments
