Job Description

Information Systems Project Manager leading project teams and managing IT projects at Northrop Grumman. Responsible for oversight of scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and overall direction to project teams engaged in design, implementation and modification of IT projects
  • Serve as customer liaison for project leadership and manage scheduling, change management, risk management, and cost management
  • Manage and track status of projects, metrics, financial budgets, and EACs
  • Create, review, and finalize project Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Assist project management leadership team in assessing, documenting, and tracking of all new assigned project requirements
  • Prepare project execution plans and identify appropriate technical and business resources required
  • Develop customer relationships and cultivate customer intimacy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain a US Government Secret level security clearance (at a minimum)
  • Experience with project planning, scheduling and cost performance/Earned Value Management
  • Experience with integrated team including program manager, functional managers, and customers
  • Experience in communicating with various levels of leadership
  • Experience leading and managing multiple concurrent and complex project assignments
