Job Description

Product Management Director advancing Empower’s financial products and customer tools. Setting strategy, roadmaps, KPIs, and execution plans with Workplace Solutions and Personal Wealth leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive critical initiatives to enhance Empower’s product offering
  • Collaborate with Workplace Solutions and Personal Wealth leaders to achieve enterprise goals
  • Establish product, service, or customer-tools strategy and roadmap
  • Own execution of initiatives
  • Drive customer experience by transforming strategy into execution
  • Serve as subject matter expert for tools servicing the assigned customer group
  • Drive competitive intelligence and analytics for supported products, services, or tools
  • Provide regular updates on external offerings and Empower consideration
  • Establish KPIs and measure results to ensure expected business outcomes
  • Mentor team members to enhance team talent
  • Serve as a senior leader within Product and across the organization
  • Deliver comprehensive understanding of implications of important decisions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in general business, finance, accounting or similar
  • 10 years+ relevant business experience
  • Experience working with financial service providers and understanding of the marketplace
  • Collaborative and cooperative relationship-building ability
  • Senior leadership experience within Product and across an organization
  • Comprehensive understanding of implications of important decisions
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clarity, brevity, perceptual tone, and professionalism
  • Ability to speak up in front of peers and managers to share conflicting ideas or support a point
  • FINRA fingerprinting required
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT, is unavailable
  • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection and a minimally disruptive home workspace for remote work
