Job Description
Product marketing consultant designing realistic scenarios and evaluation standards for 24-MAG’s remote consulting platform. Assessing positioning, launches, enablement, adoption, competitive strategy, and marketing data workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Design realistic product marketing scenarios based on personally performed work
- Define underlying business issues, expected decisions, and outcomes
- Create scenarios involving incomplete, conflicting, or messy product and market information
- Develop and evaluate positioning, messaging, differentiation, and value propositions
- Design and assess product launch planning, readiness, execution, priorities, dependencies, and risks
- Evaluate sales and go-to-market enablement materials and alignment
- Develop and review win/loss research scenarios and assess evidence-based conclusions
- Review product adoption, behavioural data, usage patterns, customer engagement, and barriers to adoption
- Develop scenarios involving competitor activity, market changes, and response strategies
- Work with simulated email, storage, CRM, project-management, social media, web analytics, SEO/AEO, advertising, CMS, product analytics, and customer-support systems
- Work with Salesforce-like CRM, Amplitude-like product analytics, and Asana/Linear-like project-management workflows
- Write or review reference answers and evaluation criteria
- Review completed scenarios and evaluate diagnostic reasoning, prioritisation, trade-offs, planning, execution, and reporting
- Provide clear written reasoning supporting evaluation decisions
Requirements:
- Hands-on professional experience in product marketing
- Experience personally owning product launches, positioning, and enablement, rather than solely managing teams responsible for execution
- Strong understanding of win/loss analysis, positioning, launch readiness, adoption, and competitive strategy
- Comfortable working with a CRM such as Salesforce
- Experience interpreting product analytics through platforms such as Amplitude
- Comfortable using project-management tools such as Asana, Linear, or equivalent platforms
- Strong ability to analyse incomplete or conflicting market, customer, and product information
- Clear written reasoning and ability to explain why a product marketing decision is effective or ineffective
- Prior experience developing AI training environments, reinforcement-learning environments, or simulated business case studies is strongly preferred
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification is strongly preferred
- Comfortable working independently with structured evaluation frameworks and project guidelines
- Applicants must complete a short multiple-choice knowledge assessment specific to product marketing before review
- Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
