Job Description

Product Owner for Nova platform, collaborating cross-functionally to support data delivery and client insights at Power Digital.

Responsibilities:

  • Support discovery by gathering requirements from internal teams (Retail, Media, Strategy, Analytics) using Nova
  • Translate business and client needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear backlog items
  • Maintain and organize the Nova product backlog, ensuring priorities align with roadmap goals
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives
  • Assist in validating data accuracy, dashboards, and reporting outputs within Nova
  • Collect and synthesize feedback from client teams, strategists, and internal users
  • Support feature launches with enablement documentation, release notes, and internal communications
  • Learn and apply AI tools to assist with PRD, documentation, and workflow efficiency
  • Utilize and grow expertise in Power Digital’s Nova ecosystem, including integrations with third-party platforms
  • Support and maintain a prioritized backlog aligned to Nova roadmap goals
  • Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Ready documentation
  • Participate in sprint planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives
  • Ensure sprint commitments are well-defined and achievable
  • Partner with engineering and design to support on-time feature delivery
  • Own adoption metrics for assigned Client Portal and Creative Affinity features
  • Define activation events and success metrics for each feature
  • Track feature adoption, usage, and return rates post-launch
  • Support feature launches with release notes, enablement documentation, and walkthroughs
  • Validate dashboards, metrics, and reporting outputs for accuracy and clarity
  • Ensure metric definitions and assumptions are documented
  • Identify data or UX issues impacting adoption and flag them early
  • Partner with data and engineering teams to reduce post-launch defects
  • Use AI tools (e.g., LLMs) to assist with documentation, analysis, and workflow efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI to improve product execution or user experience

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced level
  • Understanding in sprint-based delivery environments
  • Certification preferred: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Scrum Fundamentals, or equivalent
  • Understanding and ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Strong understanding of Definition of Ready and sprint hygiene
  • Proficiency in Jira (strongly preferred), Asana, or similar tools
  • Basic SQL knowledge or demonstrated willingness to learn
  • Ability to interpret dashboards and product metrics
  • Knowledge of BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders.
