Job Description

Group Product Manager leading the Real Time Decisioning and 3D Secure product suite at Marqeta. Responsible for AI-driven fraud management solutions and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a clear, actionable strategy that aligns with the company's overall growth objectives
  • Lead and inspire others with a compelling product vision and roadmap
  • Deeply understand fraud, risk, and authentication ecosystems
  • Develop AI-powered products and frictionless authentication solutions
  • Own the complete P&L for your suite of products
  • Collaborate across customer-facing and technical teams for feature prioritization
  • Create well-defined Product Requirement Documents focusing on customer and business value
  • Act as technical advisor to educate and evangelize features
  • Collaborate with go-to-market partners to develop product collateral
  • Leverage hands-on AI and prototyping skills to validate product concepts
  • Stay current on the latest AI/ML research and proactively identify opportunities

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in product management roles designing and delivering fraud, risk, and/or authentication solutions
  • Proven track record of setting vision and strategy for a portfolio of products
  • Experience recruiting and growing top talent and building high-performing teams
  • Passion for AI, demonstrated through hands-on building, prototyping, or side projects
  • Fluency with modern prototyping tools (e.g., Cursor, Replit, Claude Code)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • "Roll up your sleeves" mentality to seek root causes, assigning ownership, and driving accountability
