Job Description

Professional Programs Coordinator supporting National Kidney Foundation professional membership, CME education, and clinical conference programs. Coordinating schedules, reporting, customer service, documentation, and virtual events.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for NKF Professional Membership, Professional Education/CME, and the NKF Spring Clinical Meetings
  • Assist with scheduling healthcare professionals for planning meetings, podcast recordings, and related activities
  • Facilitate monthly reporting for the team
  • Coordinate content calendars and postings for NKF’s NephPros social media accounts
  • Monitor and respond to customer service inquiries using the Salesforce service queue
  • Support timelines and processes for the annual NKF Spring Clinical Meetings
  • Assist with financial processing, including vendor payments and volunteer reimbursements
  • Coordinate collection of required CME speaker documentation
  • Maintain accurate program rosters and faculty data
  • Support dissemination and tracking of the CE peer review process
  • Build monthly CE activities in the Professional Education Resource Center (PERC)
  • Provide editorial workflow support to the Journal of Nephrology Social Work
  • Provide technical support for virtual events, including Project ECHO sessions, podcast recordings, and member calls
  • Perform additional duties as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Minimum two to three years job related office administrative experience is preferred
  • Previous healthcare professionals support experience is a plus
  • Experience in project management/coordination desired
  • Advanced organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service
  • Word processing skills
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Software and Outlook Calendar
  • Ability to work without close supervision, set priorities, and perform multiple tasks under deadlines and time pressure
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with ability to work effectively independently
  • Flexibility for business travel one time annually
  • Unimpeachable integrity and trustworthiness, with tact, discretion, and professionalism
  • Ability to maintain effectiveness under pressure
  • Competence using standard office equipment, including telephone, personal computer, fax machine, and photocopier
  • Flexibility for moderate overnight business travel, which may include weekends
