Job Description

Program Manager managing initiatives for Oregon Rural Health Collaborative remotely. Collaborating with rural communities to enhance health care systems across Oregon.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with regions to identify regional meeting participants;
  • Develop marketing materials to engage individuals in regional meetings;
  • Collaborate with regions to develop meeting agendas and materials;
  • Ensure participant engagement and the consensus-building process;
  • Identify and engage with professional facilitators to facilitate regional meetings;
  • Track action items and ensure timely completion of project deliverables;
  • Facilitate follow-up activities, including analyzing data gathered at meetings to identify common themes and referring strategic planning and grant writing TA needs to the team’s TA Manager;
  • Ensure proper expense reporting related to the project and tracking detailed expense records for fund attribution;
  • Prepare progress and annual reports on project activities and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a field directly related to the position will substitute for two years of the required experience.
  • Five years of experience with responsibility for program or project monitoring and coordination.
  • The experience must have included program evaluation responsibility.
  • Possess a working knowledge of Oregon’s rural health care environment, as well as familiarity with state and federal laws and regulations affecting rural health care delivery.
  • Possess excellent communication, public speaking, facilitation and writing skills.
  • The ability to successfully collaborate with community and statewide organizations.
  • The ability to work as a constructive member of the ORH team.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to work independently and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Must possess basic computer skills, e.g., word processing, spreadsheet and database management.
  • The ability to travel frequently and independently throughout the state is necessary.
  • Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Valid Driver’s License
