Job Description
Program Manager leading high-impact projects for Avantor's Global Operations-Quality Systems group. Overseeing project strategy, vendor partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Drive high-impact, large-scale projects from concept to completion
- Set project strategy, define scope, manage risks, and optimize resources
- Lead vendor partnerships and align stakeholders
- Develop and manage program roadmaps, budgets, resource plans, and timelines
- Serve as the primary liaison between Q&R business stakeholders and IT
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, IT, and external partners
- Track and report program progress, risks, issues, and outcomes to senior leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, technical, or related discipline
- 5+ years of progressive project/program management experience
- 3+ years managing large, cross-functional programs in a regulated environment
- Demonstrated success in leading organizational change and digital transformation initiatives
- Proficiency in software development practices such as Agile
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Certification(s): Formal program/project management training or certification preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (MS Project experience highly desirable)
