Job Description

Project Manager connecting H&R Block corporate tax initiatives with field teams. Leading engagement programs, feedback channels, communications, and adoption across remote Missouri operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project plans for engagement programs, leadership meetings, advisory councils, and support networks
  • Coordinate engagement activities with field leaders, business partners, and cross-functional teams
  • Lead support and escalation routines to resolve questions and improve the associate experience
  • Facilitate feedback discussions to uncover barriers, readiness concerns, and improvement opportunities
  • Develop agendas, facilitator guides, talking points, surveys, and follow-up materials for engagement events
  • Capture and analyze field feedback, best practices, and emerging trends to inform business decisions
  • Track milestones, action items, risks, and follow-up activities across multiple projects and initiatives
  • Partner with Operations, Training, Communications, and Product teams to align messaging and readiness activities
  • Measure engagement effectiveness through participation trends, feedback insights, and adoption indicators
  • Document lessons learned and recommend improvements for future engagement efforts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project or program management, communications planning, or similar related work
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group
  • Ability to lead in a matrix environment and at a distance (virtually)
  • Demonstrated decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated effectiveness presenting complex information to multiple organizational levels
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and product planning tools
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Track record of establishing priorities and deadlines
