Job Description
Physical Security Project Manager overseeing multi-site security programs for Salute, a data center infrastructure services provider. Managing operations, compliance, staffing, client relationships, and performance across assigned locations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and support for multiple physical security sites and programs
- Ensure assigned locations operate efficiently and meet company standards and client expectations
- Monitor site performance, staffing levels, scheduling practices, and operational readiness
- Conduct regular site visits, audits, and assessments
- Support site leadership in resolving operational challenges and implementing corrective actions
- Ensure consistency in security operations, reporting, and service delivery
- Partner with Site Managers, Security Managers, and Operations Leadership
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to site leadership teams
- Assist with leadership development, succession planning, employee retention, recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
- Serve as a primary operational point of contact for assigned clients
- Participate in operational reviews, business meetings, and client performance discussions
- Address client concerns and ensure service delivery aligns with contractual requirements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, state licensing regulations, and applicable laws
- Monitor licensing, certifications, training records, and employee qualifications
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and operational audits
- Ensure incident reports, investigations, and documentation are completed accurately and timely
- Support new security programs, site expansions, and operational transitions
- Support budgeting, resource allocation, and workforce planning
- Analyze operational metrics and key performance indicators
- Recommend process enhancements and collaborate on long-term operational planning
- Prepare and review operational reports, performance metrics, and client deliverables
- Maintain accurate staffing, compliance, training, and operational records
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure timely communication between site leadership, clients, and corporate support teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be substituted
- Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience within physical security, contract security, law enforcement, military, or related industries
- Experience overseeing multiple locations, programs, or operational teams
- Strong understanding of security operations, workforce management, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and operational reporting tools
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between assigned locations
- Preferred: experience managing security operations for data centers, critical infrastructure, healthcare, government, or corporate environments
- Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), or similar industry certification
- Preferred: experience supporting multi-state operations and licensing requirements
- Ability to travel frequently to assigned locations
- Ability to conduct site inspections and operational assessments
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods
