Job Description
Project Manager leading complex IT consulting engagements for DGR Systems. Owning client relationships, delivery governance, documentation, risks, and end-to-end project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technology projects end to end, applying DGR's delivery methodologies to fit each engagement
- Partner with the assigned Technical Lead in a two-in-the-box model and share accountability for the outcome
- Keep priorities, decisions, dependencies, and next steps clear
- Own project documentation, artifacts, records, and reporting
- Anticipate and clear roadblocks
- Surface risks and dependencies early and recommend ways to address them
- Match process, planning, communication, coordination, and governance to each engagement's size, complexity, and risk
- Serve as the client's primary contact
- Maintain proactive communication, honest status updates, and realistic expectations
- Manage scope and explain changes to clients while preserving trust
- Coordinate internal teams, partners, and client stakeholders
- Keep project records and documentation current throughout each engagement
- Bring structure to ambiguity and keep the client and team moving toward the shared outcome
Requirements:
- 3 or more years of project management experience in technology consulting or professional services
- Track record of managing IT deployments, integrations, and migrations across infrastructure, networking, security, or modern workplace environments
- Experience navigating difficult client conversations, including scope changes, competing expectations, project risk, or delivery challenges
- Proactive communication style, especially when a project is at risk or expectations need to be reset
- Strong project documentation habits and ability to maintain a clear and accurate project record throughout the engagement
- Experience across multiple technology service areas is helpful
- Experience with a delivery model where a PM and technical lead share ownership of the outcome is helpful
- Exposure to Microsoft technology areas such as Modern Workplace, Identity, Infrastructure, or Security is helpful
- Experience managing multiple concurrent engagements across varied client types in a consulting environment is helpful
- Eligibility to work in the United States
