Job Description
Project Manager launching insurance customers on Five Sigma’s SaaS claims platform. Managing implementations, configurations, requirements, and transitions to customer success.
Responsibilities:
- Launch new customers on Five Sigma’s SaaS platform and onboard existing customers
- Build initial application configurations and review platform settings and functionality
- Manage projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring scope, time, and budget requirements are met
- Conduct planning and manage execution of large-scale, high-risk, or strategic projects through successful go-live
- Host kick-off calls to coordinate, plan, and measure client implementations
- Manage stakeholder relationships, progress, issues, requirements, and deliverables
- Analyze risks, establish contingency plans, and identify triggers and mitigating responsibilities
- Learn clients’ organizations, processes, teams, and desired outcomes
- Understand and document operational and technical requirements with client teams
- Ensure project completion and transition clients to Customer Support & Success
- Create end-user training and establish go-live and post-production support channels
- Plan and manage project resource allocation
- Manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
- Provide technical, business consulting, and product expertise
- Enable and configure product features within contractual constraints or identify change requests
- Identify use cases, roles, and business requirements for each implementation
- Occasionally assist during pre-sale engagements
- Travel to meet clients and engage with their external and internal teams
Requirements:
- More than 5 years of project management experience in Insurtech large-scale strategic projects — must
- Knowledge of project management processes, including planning, resource allocation, risk, time, financial, and quality management, monitoring and reporting, documentation, and record keeping
- Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, client-facing, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with people from different disciplines and varying levels of technical experience
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and tactfully with senior executives, clients, peers, and team members
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with multiple constituents
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Experience writing functional business and technical requirements
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions within project scope and statement of work
- Strong technical background and technical understanding
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams within a formalized methodology
- PMP certification and/or other industry and project management certifications are an additional benefit
