Job Description
Project Manager delivering customer-focused utility software implementations for FusionSoft, a provider serving electric utilities. Managing scope, financials, stakeholders, timelines, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer relationships during implementations and ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and within scope requirements
- Manage project scope and changes to project deliverables while ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability
- Explain implications of project scope and priority changes to clients and management and ensure changes are understood and approved
- Manage project financials
- Proactively resolve project issues to mitigate delays and reduce impacts on project timelines
- Provide management and coworkers with updates on customer and project status
- Travel as necessary, anticipated at approximately 30–50%
Requirements:
- Education in Business Administration or related field
- Experience in managing software development projects through all phases of the project life cycle
- Understanding of software development processes and methodologies
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven leadership abilities and experience in leading cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical skills to assess project progress and make data-driven decisions
- Senior level project manager experience
- Comfortable managing resources located throughout the world
- Willingness to travel as necessary, approximately 30–50%
- Current, valid passport
- Legally eligible to travel internationally, including passport-based visa exemption or required travel visas for entry into Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean
- Preference for candidates who can work in PST timezone
- Comfortable using AI-enabled technologies, including copilots, chat-based AI assistants, and automation tools, while maintaining appropriate judgment, security, and compliance standards
