Job Description
Project Manager leading cross-functional EPMO initiatives for GT Independence, a Medicaid home and community-based services financial management leader. Supporting state launches, vendor integrations, and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through closure
- Follow established EPMO protocols and PMI-aligned methodologies, including waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches
- Coordinate with executive sponsors, subject-matter experts, operations, IT, finance, compliance, and external partners
- Ensure deliverables are completed on time and on budget
- Support new state and contract launches by managing readiness activities, training coordination, vendor integration, and go-live execution
- Identify workflow bottlenecks
- Champion process improvements through change requests and standardized SOPs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5–8 years of progressive project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Strong working knowledge of PMI's PMBOK-based methodology
- Proficiency with project management platforms such as Monday.com, Smartsheet, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Project, or Jira
- PMP certification or relevant experience preferred
