Job Description
Quality Analyst reviewing outputs and tracking issues for Mercor, which partners with AI labs to train frontier models. Providing feedback and improving evaluation processes.
Responsibilities:
- Review work product against defined quality standards, rubrics, and guidelines
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, and gaps, and document them clearly
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to contributors and stakeholders
- Track quality metrics and surface recurring issues or trends
- Help refine and improve quality processes, checklists, and evaluation criteria
- Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed team across time zones
- Work on projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Proven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a similar review-focused role
- Strong attention to detail and a sharp eye for errors others miss
- Excellent written communication and ability to give clear, constructive feedback
- Comfort with ambiguity and evolving standards in a fast-moving environment
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, focused workspace
- Familiarity with data annotation, content review, or evaluation workflows is a plus
- Experience working with distributed or remote teams is a plus
- Background in a relevant technical, editorial, or analytical domain is a plus
- Must be an independent contractor
