Job Description
Quantitative Analyst developing pricing, execution, risk, and systematic trading models for an FX and CFDs business. Building Python and SQL tools to improve trading performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop quantitative models for pricing, execution, and risk management
- Analyze financial market data including tick data, order books, trade executions, and historical data
- Research and develop systematic trading strategies using statistical and machine learning techniques
- Build and maintain back-testing frameworks to evaluate trading strategies
- Monitor slippage, spreads, latency, liquidity, and execution quality
- Develop risk models covering exposure, VaR, drawdown, and stress testing
- Build automated analytical tools and dashboards using Python and SQL
- Optimize data pipelines and maintain data quality for quantitative research
- Work closely with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to improve trading systems
- Prepare research reports and present quantitative findings to management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial markets, particularly FX, CFDs, Equities, or Futures
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Good understanding of statistics, data analysis, and quantitative modelling
- Experience with financial market data, trading strategies, or back-testing
- Knowledge of machine learning or quantitative research is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Able to work effectively with trading, technology, and infrastructure teams
