Job Description
Part-time Recruiter for Industrial Inspection & Analysis responsible for staffing objectives. Finding candidates for Fire Department Testing division and assisting in onboarding new hires.
Responsibilities:
- Find skilled and qualified candidates to fill open positions throughout the Fire Department Testing division.
- Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating potential candidates.
- Work with and advise managers on candidates for available various open positions.
- Establish recruiting requirements by studying the company’s plans and objectives.
- Meet with management to discuss needs.
- Build applicant sources by researching and contacting internet sites and media.
- Attract applicants by advertising through internet job boards and other media sources.
- Determine candidate qualifications by reviewing resumes, interviewing, analyzing responses and verifying references.
- Coordinate pre-employment screening including background checks, drug testing, etc.
- Work with Managers and HR partners to coordinate onboarding for new hires.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years Employment recruiting experience including Full Cycle recruiting
- Knowledge in Industrial Inspection and Fire Department fields
- High Energy and Excellent Communication Skills
- Professionalism
- Knowledge of employment law in regards to recruiting
- Must have strong time management skills
- Multi-Tasker
- Proficient in MS software including outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Proven record of success in recruiting
- Results Oriented
- Self-Motivated and Driven to get things done
