Job Description
Regional education partnerships manager driving student conversions and partner performance across Kenya. Supporting overseas university applications through training, operations, marketing, and extensive field engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end student lifecycle from application processing to final conversion across channel partner offices
- Drive region-specific student conversion targets
- Build and maintain long-term channel partner relationships
- Negotiate commercial and operational terms
- Onboard and train partner teams
- Maintain partner engagement through communication, reviews, and field visits
- Identify and onboard new channel partners
- Ensure partner adherence to processes, documentation standards, and ethical practices
- Resolve partner-level operational and quality issues
- Guide agents to improve application quality and volume
- Conduct knowledge-sharing and process-training sessions
- Liaise with subject matter experts to provide current country, university, and process knowledge
- Work with Head Office teams to identify regional challenges, coordinate support, and represent the region in planning
- Plan and execute regional marketing initiatives
- Support events, seminars, fairs, and partner-led marketing activities
- Customize marketing strategies for regional market dynamics
- Travel extensively across key cities and towns to support growth, partner engagement, and operational consistency
- Manage significant regional decision-making responsibilities with exposure to regional P&L management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business) is preferred
- 4–7 years of total experience
- Minimum of 2+ years in the International Education sector
- Strong ability to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders
- Ability to quickly learn and apply domain knowledge
- Fluency in English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving ability in complex situations
- Extensive travel across the assigned region
- Ability to drive student conversion targets and manage channel partners
