Job Description
Regional Recruiter for West Virginia University managing enrollment in specific US territories. Planning and organizing recruitment events and managing prospective student communication.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a student recruitment program designed to meet enrollment goals
- Conduct programmatic and individual activities while functioning as part of the larger WVU Enrollment Management team
- Serve as liaison for numerous constituents, including guidance and career counselors, educators, administrators, prospective students and families, regional colleagues, community-based organizations, professional organizations, alumni, and campus-based partners
- Independently establish, operate, and maintain a remote home-office space
- Maintain an at home inventory of admission publications, materials, and exhibitor items
- Partner with supervisor to develop a territory management plan
- Organize, plan, and host WVU specific in-person and virtual events
- Manage prospective student communication by phone, email, virtual sessions, text, and print
Requirements:
- Master's degree plus a minimum of two (2) years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree will be considered if a candidate has a minimum of four (4) years of related experience
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience in higher education, recruitment, marketing, public relations, counseling or sales
