Job Description

Regional Sales Manager driving Code 3 product sales across Northern California. Managing customers, distributors, pricing, training, and territory growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Code 3 product line professionally to promote sales growth and a positive reputation within the territory
  • Interface with existing and potential customers to promote and sell Code 3 products and/or services
  • Drive continuous sales growth and attain expected margins for the assigned territory
  • Represent the company at customer visits, trade shows, seminars, community and business meetings
  • Interface with customers' corporate management and field personnel
  • Coordinate accurate purchase-order input and processing with customer service and operations
  • Obtain and manage customer bids and special pricing, including negotiation and required approvals
  • Conduct ongoing training for distributors' salespeople
  • Develop detailed knowledge of end users and distribution channels within the territory
  • Oversee test-and-evaluation programs with major accounts
  • Provide current product pricing, product operation information, and new-product training
  • Complete monthly territory status reports covering successes, failures, needs, and other assigned areas
  • Participate in establishing budgets
  • Continually update the customer database
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business, or related field or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in sales
  • Experience working with wholesale distribution, key accounts, and manufacturers rep. agencies
  • Ability to build strong business relationships with individuals at any level of the business, internally and externally, and from many diverse professional and cultural backgrounds
  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining up-to-date customer contact and opportunity information for production forecasting
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and collaboration skills; ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Strong ethics and integrity
  • Independence and motivation to seek new sales opportunities and grow the sales territory with little direct supervision
  • Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to continually improve product knowledge and skillset
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Ability to talk, hear, see, read, stand, walk, and use hands/tools as required to perform essential functions
