Job Description
Regional Sales Manager selling Safe Fleet’s fleet-safety technology to law-enforcement customers across the Mid-Atlantic United States. Developing territory strategy, winning new business, and growing existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a competitive strategy to drive substantial growth in the assigned territory
- Engage regularly with existing customers to build rapport and identify further opportunities
- Identify and pursue opportunities with new customers
- Maintain current and thorough expertise in Safe Fleet products
- Prepare and adapt sales presentations for diverse customers
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues outside the role’s scope to management
- Capture and share customer requests, product feedback, packaging and service change suggestions, and competitor offerings to support product development
- Submit daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
- Pursue membership and engagement with relevant professional associations, networking groups, and events
- Understand support department processes and requirements and maintain effective team relationships
- Monitor competition, including pricing, products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques
Requirements:
- 3+ years of consultative sales experience selling complex technology solutions, ideally integrated video/security systems
- Technical aptitude and understanding of internet and wireless communication systems and topologies
- Ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical buyers and influencers at the end-user level
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Strong persuasion and interpersonal skills
- Experience developing customized strategies and proposals that win new business
- Skilled in developing and delivering marketing proposals and presentations
- Comfortable working in a highly entrepreneurial setting where “many hats” must be worn
- Hard-driving, “Close the Deal” attitude balanced with flexibility, patience, and adaptability
- Project management experience is an asset
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Suite
- Valid driver’s license required
- Willingness to travel within the territory and to CONUS facilities, up to 70%
