Job Description
Remote field representative coordinating auction sales, vehicle evaluations, bids, and inventory. Supporting Location Services’ financial clients through remarketing and collateral recovery operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all remarketing activities once vehicles go to auction
- Evaluate vehicle condition and ensure needed repairs are completed
- Partner with auction sites to post vehicles for sale
- Monitor sale status and expense accuracy
- Run reports in AutoIMS to ensure vehicles are released for sale
- Upload and evaluate condition reports
- Arrange inspections and detailing when necessary
- Communicate with auctions and clients regarding bids and offers
- Suggest floor prices based on vehicle condition and current market price
- Enter approved floor bids in AutoIMS
- Recommend actions on offers below approved floor prices
- Re-evaluate floor prices for no-sale vehicles
- Send no-sale vehicles to online platforms
- Maintain daily sold-number reporting
- Resolve outstanding issues before vehicles go to auction
- Manage auction inventory
- Review auction expenses for accuracy
- Ensure auction policies and procedures are accurate and followed
- Maintain client relationships through routine contact
- Support executive management and company-wide strategic, culture, and engagement initiatives
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred
- One year of auto-finance, auto-auction, collections, or remarketing experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reading comprehension
- Critical thinking skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Planning and organization skills
- Customer-focused
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period
- May be asked to lift approximately 25 lbs.
- Evening and weekend work may be required based on business needs
