Job Description
Retail merchandiser stocking and selling convenience-store products for Max Distributing, a national U.S. distributor. Visiting stores, taking orders, resetting displays, and reporting service visits via mobile app.
Responsibilities:
- Visit existing customer stores within an assigned geography on a regular schedule
- Travel to other geographies to support customer launches and reset activities outside the assigned territory
- Build professional relationships with Store Management and Associates
- Educate store personnel on products and the reorder process
- Take orders for a variety of products and accurately enter orders in a mobile application
- Ensure products are displayed and fully stocked
- Reset and stock store sections according to the plan-o-gram
- Report service visits, including uploading photos through a mobile application
- Place signage, pricing, or other store collateral during store visits
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently with integrity and professionalism
- Comfortable having professional selling conversations with retail store personnel
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
- Valid U.S. driver's license in good standing for the last 3 years
- Driver's license with fewer than 2 violations within 3 years
- Ability to complete multiple store visits per day
- Ability to drive up to 100 miles per day for store visit routes
- Ability to climb and work from heights of 9 to 12 feet
- Ability to visually inspect and manipulate merchandise and advertising displays
- Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Comfortable using a smart device such as an iPhone or tablet for daily activities
- Flexibility to travel beyond assigned geography for overnight travel with advance notice
- Willingness to drive or fly to service accounts
- Up to 50% travel
