Job Description
Sales & Marketing Manager leading growth initiatives and strengthening partnerships at La Crosse Milling Company. This remote role requires travel for client visits and trade shows.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and land new accounts to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships, collaborating closely with our Cochrane-based Customer Service team to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Work closely with the Cochrane-based team on contract pricing management, ensuring profitability while remaining competitive in the B2B Oat Ingredients Market.
- Lead marketing budget, collaborating with the Cochrane-based team on website design and advertising campaigns and selection and management of industry trade shows.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to inform our sales approach.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably in food ingredients, milling, or other agricultural processing.
- Experience with commodity-based pricing models and the ability to navigate market volatility to protect company margins while providing customer stability.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Agribusiness, Marketing or a closely related field is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel 30–40% for client visits, trade shows, and occasional trips to our headquarters in Cochrane, WI.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex contract negotiations and marketing budgets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and self-management skills.
- The discipline to manage a remote schedule and hit targets without daily handholding.
