Job Description
Executive Director leading Labcorp’s national oncology sales strategy and enterprise healthcare partnerships. Driving diagnostics, precision medicine, and integrated oncology growth across health systems.
Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the national oncology commercial strategy across enterprise health systems and strategic accounts
- Align oncology sales objectives with business strategy and organizational priorities
- Identify, prioritize, and drive high-value enterprise opportunities for revenue growth and market share expansion
- Anticipate industry trends and adapt strategies to emerging oncology market dynamics
- Serve as executive sponsor for key national oncology accounts and partnerships
- Build and maintain C-suite relationships across health systems, IDNs, and oncology service lines
- Drive enterprise-level agreements, standardization, and multi-site adoption of oncology solutions
- Oversee strategic account plans led by National Strategic Directors
- Lead, coach, and develop National Strategic Directors responsible for enterprise oncology accounts
- Establish accountability for opportunity development, pipeline management, and execution
- Align national strategy with regional and divisional sales teams
- Oversee complex, top-down oncology opportunities across key accounts
- Guide executive-level engagement strategies across diagnostics, precision oncology, and advanced solutions
- Partner with Product, Operations, Marketing, IT, and other functions on go-to-market strategies
- Translate national opportunities into scalable execution plans across regions and field sales teams
- Remove organizational barriers to accelerate deal progression and implementation
- Oversee commercialization of the oncology portfolio, including advanced diagnostics, precision oncology, molecular solutions, oncology informatics, and digital integration capabilities
- Own national oncology pipeline visibility, forecasting, and performance metrics
- Drive sales processes, pipeline governance, and reporting
- Improve sales effectiveness, tools, and methodologies
- Achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 12 years of progressive healthcare sales experience, including oncology, diagnostics, or related sectors
- 8 years of leadership experience managing high-performing commercial or strategic account teams
- Proven success selling complex, enterprise-level solutions to health systems and C-suite stakeholders
- Experience leading large-scale, multi-site, multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Ability to align commercial strategy with enterprise business objectives
- Strong market insight and ability to anticipate industry shifts
- Exceptional ability to engage and influence C-suite stakeholders
- Executive presence with strong negotiation and communication skills
- Expertise in solution-based selling across complex healthcare environments
- Ability to identify and unlock new growth opportunities
- Proven ability to build, coach, and lead high-performing teams
- Strong collaborator across functions and organizational levels
- Strong operational discipline in pipeline management and forecasting
- Data-driven decision-making and performance management focus
- Travel expected 25%-35%
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
