Job Description
Sales and Customer Development Manager for TELUS Agriculture in Agribusiness. Responsible for sales success with customers in Australia and New Zealand, primarily working remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Work remotely, reporting to Australia Sales
- Responsible for sales and customer development success for selected customers and prospects
- Present, promote, renew and sell Supply Chain Efficiency and Food Safety and Quality solutions
- Segment assigned customers and create a structured approach to account management
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Provide feedback regarding customer needs to Product Management, Marketing and other teams
- Keep all customer and activity information live and up-to-date in Salesforce
- Travel required to meet with customers as needed
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in sales, account management or business development
- Proven experience in the food or agribusiness sectors is highly valued
- Ability to develop and execute account plans
- Knowledge of software platforms frequently used by medium and large enterprises
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish strong and trusted relationships with customers and prospects
- Excellent at managing time, priorities, and tasks
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Google Suite applications and Salesforce
- Ability to work independently while being a team player
