Job Description

Director of Sales for Higher Education sector at TTEC Digital. Driving revenue and building strategic relationships while ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive net-new revenue within Public Sector, Higher Education institutions across the Upper Midwest
  • Qualify and convert hyperscaler-generated leads (AWS, Microsoft, & Google) into active pipeline
  • Build strategic relationships across campus buying centers, including:
  • o Campus Police Departments (contact center environments)
  • o Enrollment Operations (registration and surge periods)
  • o University IT leadership and administrative stakeholders
  • Close mid-market opportunities typically ranging from $500K - $1M
  • Collaborate with internal solution consultants and partner teams to position CX, CCaaS, AI, and cloud solutions
  • Establish a repeatable Higher Education sales motion within the region
  • Leverage Midwest relationships to expand into university systems and support selective City/County or state-level engagement

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of sales experience OR Higher Education operational background with commercial aptitude
  • Preferred: Campus police department, Higher Education IT, administrative experience, or enrollment operations familiarity
  • Experience working with or selling alongside major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft, or Google
  • Strong relationship-building and pipeline management skills
  • Ability to navigate complex university ecosystems and engage senior campus stakeholders
  • Coachable, development-oriented mindset with intellectual curiosity and executive presence
  • Sales instincts and stakeholder fluency; product knowledge can be trained
