Job Description

Sales Team Leader coaching and motivating a remote sales team for a Weekday client. Driving targets, optimizing sales strategies, and developing representatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed revenue and conversion targets
  • Set individual and team goals, expectations, and performance standards
  • Monitor sales activity, conversion rates, follow-ups, pipeline health, and revenue performance
  • Identify performance gaps and implement targeted improvement plans
  • Lead by example by demonstrating strong personal sales skills and effective selling techniques
  • Coach sales representatives on prospecting, communication, objection handling, follow-ups, and closing
  • Conduct performance reviews, one-on-one sessions, and team meetings
  • Develop sales training, coaching programs, scripts, and best practices
  • Motivate team members and foster accountability, learning, and continuous improvement
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and test sales scripts, messaging, approaches, and engagement strategies
  • Improve sales processes to increase productivity and conversion
  • Use customer and prospect feedback to refine sales strategies
  • Establish communication and operating rhythms for a remote sales team
  • Conduct focused meetings with clear agendas, objectives, and action items
  • Ensure team members remain engaged, accountable, and aligned with business goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across locations and cultures
  • Maintain clear documentation and communication across remote workflows

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in sales, business development, telesales, inside sales, or a related commercial function
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Previous experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or supervising sales professionals
  • Strong understanding of the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, follow-up, objection handling, and closing
  • Demonstrated ability to identify performance problems through sales data and metrics and implement effective solutions
  • Strong coaching and motivational skills
  • Creative approach to developing sales scripts, messaging, and conversion strategies
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Comfortable working with Google Workspace, Microsoft Windows, spreadsheets, and digital sales tools
  • Ability to create and interpret spreadsheets, reports, charts, and performance dashboards
  • Highly organized, punctual, and capable of running productive remote meetings
  • Comfortable working with international teams and colleagues from different cultural backgrounds
  • Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated, energetic, competitive, and highly accountable for results
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven, remote environment with ambitious sales goals
  • Genuine passion for sales leadership and ability to inspire others
