Job Description

Sales Director responsible for managing client relationships and achieving sales targets. Proactively identifies and qualifies new business opportunities in Reston, Virginia.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify, qualify new business opportunities within our industry sectors.
  • Mostly outbound self-lead generation (90+%).
  • Utilize prospecting skills across multiple channels to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Develop and implement tailored solutions to enhance customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with CRO & Marketing to stay current on market trends and strategically position solutions.
  • Deliver compelling presentation and secure new clients to achieve revenue targets.
  • Develops contract strategy and negotiates contracts in accordance with company standards and business requirements.
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs and product fit.
  • Develops sales campaigns.
  • Oversees sales forecasting and prepares other reports for management ongoing.
  • Works in conjunction with and ensures support for sales administration, product development, marketing communications and research.
  • Communicates and enforces company policy and practices.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Sports Marketing or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience and proven success in another sales quota carrying role SaaS Technology and/or Data previous roles is a plus
  • Knowledge of sales process, self-lead generation, and persuasion principles
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (e.g. HubSpot) is a plus
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills are key
