Job Description
Sales Manager leading Orion's carbon black business in Taiwan. Building relationships and driving growth in a fully remote setup.
Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture trusted relationships with customers, partners, and local stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies
- Proactively manage legal, financial, and reputational risks
- Capture customer demand across applications, grades, packaging, and volumes
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Position products confidently against competitors
- Support market launches and guide customers through technical, logistical, and supply chain considerations
- Manage inquiries and support sampling processes
- Resolve complaints, track industry and competitor developments, and contribute to trainings and workshops
Requirements:
- Degree in chemistry, polymer science, or chemical engineering
- Extensive experience in technical or solution-based sales
- Fluent communication in both English and Chinese
- Strong sales track record and established network
- Strong digital and analytical capabilities
- Familiarity with MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce
- Willingness to travel frequently (around 50–60%)
