Job Description

Sales Manager driving sales growth for Momentive Electronics in Southeast Asia, focusing on business development in the SG, Malaysia, and Indonesia regions. Collaborating with global teams to deliver customer solutions and technical support.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development in SG, Malaysia, Indonesia by working closely with SEA EM Commercial Leader and peers from both EM global team and SEA team members.
  • Be responsible for target customers development, new opportunity generation and lead opportunity qualification
  • Be responsible for Sales delivery in SG, Malaysia and Indonesia
  • Deliver technical supports to the key accounts for SG, Malaysia, and Indonesia by cooperating with global technical team and local ADEs.
  • Work with authorized distributors and direct customers for active & effective sales activities including customer developments and managements, customers’ needs follow-up, forecast and orders placement in time as well as competitor intelligence feedback for his territory (SG, Malaysia, Indonesia)
  • Work with end users to determine customer needs and to be able to propose the right products fit with their applications for his territories.
  • Work with marketing team to capture technical enquiries & marketing trend for developing new NPI for market needed for his territory.
  • Constantly manage CRM and update opportunities in SFA and make call reports.
  • Identify business opportunities/risks for responsible countries, lead and support global KA customers business management and review.
  • Deliver target sales, new NPI sales and its profitability.
  • Build relations with R&D, Marketing and other relevant functions within EM segment
  • Support customers in accordance with the globally defined strategies

Requirements:

  • At least 3~5 years of experience in commercial and technical sales and business development in Chemical or Electronics related industrial
  • Above 10 years of experience in commercial, technical service, marketing related experience.
  • Strong sales skills with high customer orientation
  • Proved records to grow the business through technical spec’d in
  • Be accountable of facing customer inquiries, issues and complaints, provide trouble shooting with internal resource utilization, to support production for EM SEA’s key accounts.
  • High willingness to explore new things and create new business models
  • Work experience in MNC and well cooperation works with global team.
  • Self-confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
  • Team player who enjoys working in a global and cross functional team
  • Excellent communication skills with good presentation.
  • Familiar with using common Office applications and experience in using SAP.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Requirement for a full driving license
