Job Description
Sales Manager driving regional corrugated packaging growth for Georgia-Pacific. Leading sales strategy, customer partnerships, pipeline development, and commercial team performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop the commercial sales team, focusing on recruitment, retention, and ongoing development
- Foster partnerships between sales, customer service, and operations by collaborating with other commercial business units
- Drive revenue and profit-margin growth through innovation and strategic opportunities
- Develop and implement market-driven sales strategies and pricing
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Implement the sales training process to create customer value and success
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline tailored to regional needs
- Maintain compliance and safety according to governmental regulations and company standards
- Use Microsoft 365 applications and Microsoft Dynamics CRM effectively
- Report directly to the General Manager
- Travel throughout the region to support current and prospective customers
Requirements:
- Experience in sales within the corrugated packaging industry
- Ability to travel throughout the region as necessary to support current and prospective customers
- Corrugated sales management experience preferred
- Previous experience coaching and leading a high-performing team preferred
- Candidates must reside in or relocate to the Chattanooga/Cleveland, Tennessee area
- Must comply with applicable governmental regulations and company standards
- Effective use of Microsoft 365 applications and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Successful completion of a drug test may be required where permitted by state law
