Job Description
Salesforce Developer skilled in Salesforce Core and Vlocity optimizing scalable solutions for 8x8. Responsible for implementing and managing various integration and optimization tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable solutions across Salesforce Core and Salesforce Industries (Vlocity)
- Develop OmniStudio components including OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors/Data Mappers, and FlexCards
- Develop custom functionality using Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce
- Configure and optimize Vlocity CPQ including Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC), product modeling, pricing rules, promotions, and guided selling
- Implement and manage Vlocity Order Management including order capture, decomposition, orchestration, and fulfillment lifecycle
- Design and develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi)
- Build high-performance Integration Procedures for real-time and batch integrations
- Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable data flows across enterprise systems
- Optimize Salesforce and OmniStudio solutions for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning
- Implement AI-enabled automation and intelligent process enhancements where applicable
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of Salesforce Core development experience
- 1+ years of Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) experience including OmniStudio, CPQ, and Order Management
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations
- Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce
- Hands-on expertise in OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors/Data Mappers, and FlexCards
- Experience configuring and optimizing Vlocity CPQ including Enterprise Product Catalog and pricing frameworks
- Experience implementing Vlocity Order Management including decomposition and orchestration
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security best practices
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs and middleware
