Job Description
Salesforce DevOps Engineer automating CI/CD, release management, and metadata deployments for VXForward’s technology solutions. Managing Salesforce environments, GitHub workflows, Copado, and Salesforce CLI.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments
- Configure pipelines, promotion paths, and deployment automation
- Own end-to-end release management across Dev, QA, UAT, Staging, and Production environments
- Coordinate release schedules with developers, admins, and QA
- Manage GitHub-based version control for Salesforce metadata
- Define branching strategies and pull request workflows
- Resolve merge conflicts and maintain commit hygiene
- Automate metadata deployments, environment provisioning, and sandbox seeding/refresh cycles
- Manage Salesforce metadata retrieval and deployment, org management, and scripted release workflows
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to undergo a Public Trust background investigation
- Hands-on proficiency with Salesforce CLI for metadata retrieval/deployment, org management, and scripting release workflows
- Strong demonstrated skills in Copado, including pipelines, deployments, and environment management
- Working knowledge of the Salesforce Metadata API
- Working knowledge of package-based deployment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet unexpected challenges, adapt when needed, and work proactively
