Job Description
Senior DevOps Engineer designing CI/CD, cloud, and IaC platforms for CI&T, a technology transformation company turning enterprise AI into business impact.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software architects and development teams to define infrastructure requirements and design platform solutions
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines
- Architect and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Conduct proofs of concept for new tools, technologies, and methodologies
- Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Ensure high availability across production and development environments
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and application issues
- Integrate security best practices into architecture and deployment processes
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Mentor team members on advanced DevOps practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence
Requirements:
- Fluency in English for daily communication with the client; resume must be submitted in English
- Best practices in the use of AI for infrastructure activities
- Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer focused on platform architecture and scalable infrastructure solutions
- Proficiency building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI
- Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, or similar
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including production-grade deployments
- Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure provisioning and management
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience performing proofs of concept and assessing new tools and technologies
- Experience implementing security best practices in cloud-based and on-premise environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications such as Azure Certified DevOps Engineer or CKA are advantageous
- Previous software development or Site Reliability Engineering experience is advantageous
- Proven Azure experience is advantageous
- Experience designing or contributing to platform-level architecture and infrastructure strategies is advantageous
