Job Description
SAP BASIS Administrator supporting and maintaining SAP applications for US federal government missions. Troubleshooting systems, managing backups, and assisting with project planning and junior-team mentoring.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients
- Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work
- Provide technical expertise supporting SAP applications
- Install, configure, implement, and maintain SAP applications and related software
- Establish and implement application-operations standards for hardware and software compatibility
- Lead efforts to troubleshoot and/or resolve software, operating system, and networking problems
- Schedule, perform, and monitor system backups and perform data recoveries when necessary
- Provide day-to-day technical support for program applications
- Assist with project budgeting, staffing, forecasting and work planning
- May manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members
Requirements:
- 4+ years of SAP BASIS experience
- Experience with budgeting, staffing, forecasting and work planning
- Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA, ECC, SRM, BW, PI/PO, Enterprise Portal, BOBJ, HANA DB, and Oracle DB
- US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
- Public Trust
- Relevant SAP certifications preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- Work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship in the United States
