Job Description
SAP Basis and HANA Administrator maintaining SAP applications and HANA databases for federal clients. Supporting upgrades, recovery, security, troubleshooting, and system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Administer SAP application environments and HANA databases across development, testing, and production
- Monitor system health, database performance, background jobs, capacity, and operational alerts
- Plan and execute approved installations, patches, upgrades, system refreshes, and transport activities
- Manage backups and recovery procedures and participate in disaster recovery exercises
- Coordinate access administration, certificate maintenance, hardening, and remediation with security personnel
- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and maintain configuration records and operating procedures
- Maintain dependable SAP environments for federal clients
- Support controlled system changes and work with technical teams to sustain performance, availability, and security
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least five years of experience working on the SAP platform
- At least 20 years of relevant experience
- Experience supporting federal government programs
- Proficiency in SAP Basis administration, HANA database operations, transport management, and troubleshooting
- Experience with backup and recovery, performance analysis, operating systems, and controlled maintenance
- Secret Clearance eligible (preferred qualification)
