Job Description

Procurement analyst managing indirect materials, suppliers, and purchase orders for Collins Aerospace. Supporting cost-effective aerospace supply chain operations and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Procure-to-Pay process for indirect materials
  • Identify qualified suppliers while leveraging existing agreements
  • Manage purchase order placement from requisition through invoice payment for assigned commodities
  • Obtain price quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery
  • Analyze supplier quotes and make sourcing recommendations and decisions
  • Ensure product on-time delivery to schedule
  • Initiate supplier negotiations on price, lead time, and terms and conditions
  • Complete purchase order documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure timely order placement to support business needs and meet team-defined turnaround times
  • Interface with requisitioners and other functional groups
  • Work independently and as a team member on additional projects supporting the Supply Chain organization
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost-effective procurement solutions, maintain compliance, and improve processes

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with SAP procurement software or similar ERP systems in a supply chain or procurement environment
  • Experience with Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX or PRISM
  • Advanced proficiency in English
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in SAP procurement functions, Business Warehouse, and Business Objects
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with lean principles and process improvement strategies
  • Knowledge of indirect commodities in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
