Job Description

Retention marketer driving CRM strategy, execution, and optimization for DoorDash’s local delivery marketplace. Managing lifecycle campaigns across email, push, in-app, and other channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Create CRM campaign strategy across the customer lifecycle for automations and ad hoc communications
  • Build, QA, launch, and optimize retention marketing campaigns across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and other channels using first-party platforms
  • Develop campaign strategy briefs based on business needs and audience behavior
  • Determine channel mix, audience targeting, and touchpoint frequency for each program
  • Establish working relationships with Creative Studio, Promo Strategy, Product, Analytics, and Strategy teams
  • Manage CRM reporting dashboards, monitor trends, and make recommendations based on results
  • Stay current on email, push, and SMS marketing best practices and share learnings with the broader marketing team
  • Own end-to-end campaign execution from channel strategy and audience planning through QA, launch, optimization, and reporting
  • Analyze initiative impact on order rate and revenue
  • Support creative ideation and iteration and consult on various customer-experience workstreams
  • Collaborate across strategy and operations, brand, product marketing, analytics, and Retention teams
  • Report to the Manager of Lifecycle on USMP within Consumer Lifecycle Marketing

Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience in CRM or email marketing
  • Deep familiarity with CRM technology including ESPs/marketing automation platforms
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, HTML, and data visualization platforms such as Tableau and Periscope
  • Knowledge of email industry best practices including contact strategies, targeting and segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics
  • Extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated, and able to multitask
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
