Job Description

Integral role in building business strategy on the Live Operations team under the Dasher & Logistics pillar at DoorDash. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve Dasher supply and hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Play an integral role in building business strategy on the Live Operations team under the Dasher & Logistics pillar
  • Focus on opportunities to improve Dasher supply & hours by getting into the weeds and really understanding what's happening on the ground
  • Develop and test hypotheses and scale that impact through collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, and Analytics
  • Report directly into a Manager or Senior Manager on the Dasher & Logistics team

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, financial services, operations, technology, startups or related experience
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize data, make informed decisions and balance quantitative measurement with an empathetic, intuition-based mindset
  • Can crunch data in SQL/excel independently
  • Love thinking about problems from a first principles approach
  • Able to communicate complex topics in a clear, concise, and thorough way to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Focus on getting stuff done
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and the dynamic nature of operations which may require working weekends and holidays
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
