Job Description
Integral role in building business strategy on the Live Operations team under the Dasher & Logistics pillar at DoorDash. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve Dasher supply and hours.
Responsibilities:
- Play an integral role in building business strategy on the Live Operations team under the Dasher & Logistics pillar
- Focus on opportunities to improve Dasher supply & hours by getting into the weeds and really understanding what's happening on the ground
- Develop and test hypotheses and scale that impact through collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, and Analytics
- Report directly into a Manager or Senior Manager on the Dasher & Logistics team
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, financial services, operations, technology, startups or related experience
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data, make informed decisions and balance quantitative measurement with an empathetic, intuition-based mindset
- Can crunch data in SQL/excel independently
- Love thinking about problems from a first principles approach
- Able to communicate complex topics in a clear, concise, and thorough way to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Focus on getting stuff done
- Comfortable with ambiguity and the dynamic nature of operations which may require working weekends and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
