Job Description
Senior Associate Product Manager shaping pharmacy network products at McKesson, a healthcare services company. Supporting product strategy, agile delivery, documentation, and patient medication access.
Responsibilities:
- Support product leadership in defining and prioritizing features, epics, and user stories for pharmacy network products.
- Research industry and market developments and contribute research insights.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and user experiences.
- Participate in agile development processes, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Identify conflicting initiatives, escalate issues, and contribute to prioritization.
- Assess product needs, monitor and analyze product performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, including internal training and external communication.
- Create, maintain, and refine technical documentation, release notes, user guides, and process materials.
- Translate complex technical concepts into accessible content for varied audiences.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned product areas and support sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Participate in customer conversations and contribute to MVP product recommendations.
- Articulate delivered value and contribute to P&L decisions.
- Contribute to the product roadmap, strategy, and value proposition for the Pharmacy Network Solutions portfolio.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration) or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in product management or a related role within the healthcare technology or pharmacy industry.
- Basic understanding of pharmacy operations, prescription workflows, and the healthcare ecosystem.
- Understanding of NCPDP Telecom Standard
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to product development cycles and work effectively with technical teams.
- Ability to write, edit, and organize technical content, including product documentation, implementation materials, release communications, and knowledge base content.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with MadCap Flare or similar technical documentation authoring tools.
